| Homework | ||
I will distribute a weekly homework packet every Monday. Please complete assigned homework daily and return the completed packet on Friday. |

| Absences | ||
Whenever your child is absent from school please send a note within 3 days explaining why they were absent when they return to school. If a note is not received the absence will automatically be considered unexcused. |

| Behavior System | ||
If a student is meeting behavioral expectations (following class rules), the student will receive positive feedback. Positive feedback may include verbal praise, happy notes, treats, happy calls, special privileges and activities.

| Scholastic Book Club | ||
| I will be sending home Scholastic book club order forms each month this year. Scholastic book club offers a variety of paperbacks, hardbacks and listening cassettes at affordable prices. If you are interested in ordering books just fill out the form on the back of the newsletter and make out a check payable to Scholastic Book Club or send cash and send it in by the due date. The books you order will arrive within approximately 2-3 weeks. Remember it is important to read, read, read!!! |
