| Home Learning | ||
| Homework provides your child the opportunity to review the material learned during the school day and reinforces new skills. Your child will receive homework everyday and I will review it with them daily. Please ask to see your child’s completed homework and help them if needed. I will promptly notify the parent if homework is not being turned in. | ||
| Attendance | ||
| It is important for your child to come to school every day in order to succeed and grow academically. However, if your child should become ill and cannot attend, please send a note with them when they return explaining that he or she was sick. Without a note your child’s absence will be unexcused. Only illness or observance of a religious holiday will be considered an excused absence. After five excused absences with a parent note you must bring a doctor’s note for any additional absences to be considered excused. This is school policy. Any missed homework or class work should be made up as soon as possible. | ||
