Events	Throughout the year our school holds several events to engage the students in learning and to celebrate achievement. Click on the events below to see our happenings.
	School Events 2007-2008
	January	Career day Speakers [web page] Many of our community leaders and role models came to speak about their careers to inspire our students.
		Ribbon Cutting Ceremony [photo story] In December, our official ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of our new building was documented in this photo story.
	October	Halloween Parade and Dress UP [web page] The Pre-K and Kindergarten students paraded around the school to show off their fabulous Halloween attire.
		The Bone Zone [photo story] The Student Services Department planned a presentation for second graders to learn about the bones in their bodies.
		The Great Safety Adventure [photo story] The Student Services coordinated this event sponsored by Lowes. The school event was also broadcasted on the local news.
	September	Picture Day [web page] This year every student had their picture taken as part of a combination school picture package and yearbook production with the Herff Jones company.
	School Events 2006-2007
		Multi-Cultural Fair [photo story] Students and teacher dressed up in Ethic clothing, prepared food, and danced to celebrate the countries of the world.
		FCAT Attendance Party [photo story] The 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders were rewarded for coming to school during FCAT week.
		Career Day [photo story] It was the biggest career day ever! A variety of presenters came to speak to our students about their careers.

		PASS Program [photo story] In March 2007, the Leon Medical Group formed a PASS partnership with our school.
		The Electrified Experience [photo story] Our third grade classes learned about electricity during this very dynamic and interactive presentation.
		Canned Food Drive [photo story] In participation with the Salvation Army, our school sponsored a canned food drive.
